Kathy Ingle is a highly successful serial entrepreneur and civic leader. She is president of Ingle Rentals, a commercial real-estate company based in Dallas, and also manages investments for two limited partnerships.

Prior to her current business endeavors, Kathy co-founded and served as vice president of sales and management for Shake and Shingle Supply, Inc., a roofing supply company successfully sold to a major national competitor in 2011. She was also an officer of Enertex Investments, a gas and oil exploration company; co-owner and vice president of Carrollton Properties, a commercial construction firm; and owner and president of two general-contracting firms, Patina Properties, Inc. and Cornerstone Construction, Inc. Kathy is a former director of Fidelity Bank and Raze Technologies, Inc. Her prior professional experience also includes sales positions with Geigy Pharmaceuticals and as a teacher for two cooperative schools.

Kathy has a long and rich history of civic leadership in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as statewide. In particular, she is widely acknowledged and sought out for her expertise on transportation issues. Kathy is the LBJ Corridor Champion (named “Texas Road Hand of the Year” by the Texas Transportation Institute), chair of the Transit Coalition of North Texas and a former member of the transportation strategic planning task force of the Council of Governments. She was formerly board chair of Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART,) an original investor in the Texas Turnpike Coalition and representative to the Regional Transportation Coalition.

Kathy has also been deeply involved in planning and zoning issues, chairing the Farmers Branch Planning & Zoning Commission and serving on that city’s Zoning Board of Adjustments and Building Code Board of Appeals. She has also served as a trustee of the Greenhill School, director and chair of Metrocrest Youth & Family Counseling Services, and director of the Trinity Commons Foundation and the Lutheran Medical Systems Foundation.

Kathy earned a Masters in Natural Science from Oklahoma State University, and a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry (double major, cum laude) from Southern Nazarene University.
